Project Polaris is an innovative program that brings together talented people from all around the world in an effort to contribute to the globalization of space. This is done by simulating an “international mini-space-agency” with all its technical and logistics departments.
“It wouldn’t make sense if [space] was reserved as a place for only a selected group of nations. Space needs to be democratized; it has to be an endeavor of the entire planet.”
FRANKLIN CHANG DIAZ
Astronaut & Ad Astra CEO
The program’s technical objective is to test, build, and design a prototype of the Star Rover, a rover that could explore the surface of Saturn’s moon, Titan by using hydrogen gas to inflate a balloon and feed thrusters.

“Since I started working for Project Polaris it has been an incredible experience, surrounded by people with great determination and great vision. I have learned a lot about teamwork, which I think is essential and important for projects of great international impact like ours. I have managed to complement my knowledge towards a superior technology, based on research, and advice from people such as Jean-Pierre Lebreton from ESA which is truly incredible. Everything I have experienced in Polaris is really gratifying.”
